Introduction

Abyss Match Saga was a game in a pack of 4 that I released in C98 Wallet SuperApp. In this game, need to match 3 or more of the same deep-sea animals to clear 'em out of the board and gain scores. There are many items and powers to help the play feel more exciting.

Later, this game was chosen to be put on Cyborg, another game platform of the company.

Project Goals

This project was given the below goals to fulfill:

  • Play smoothly with native-like quality (even though it's still a html5 game)

  • Extremely easy to understand and has to be lightweight, thus hypercasual gameplay.

  • Fast and cheap to produce and maintain.

  • Align with the company's theme and using the C98 mascot.
